Notice of Annual General Meeting

Dear RDUK member,
The Rare Disease UK AGM will take place on the morning of the 12th September near King’s Cross, London. As well as providing the opportunity to learn more about RDUK’s activities over the past year and what we have planned for the future, Dr Ed Jessop from the National Specialised Commissioning Team (NSCT) will be in attendance to give members an update on a strategy for rare diseases and how RDUK and our members have contributed and can continue to contribute to the development of a strategy moving forward.
Following the AGM, there will be the opportunity to participate in the monthly RDUK Management Committee meeting.
The agenda for the morning is as follows:
9am-9:30am – arrival, tea and coffee
9:30am – 10:45am – RDUK AGM including:
A report from the Chair, Alastair Kent OBE, on the activities of Rare Disease UK
Special guest speaker, Dr Ed Jessop (NSCT)
10:45am – 11am – Break
11am – 12:30pm – RDUK Management Committee Meeting
Each member of the Management Committee is elected for a term of 3 years in accordance with the RDUK constitution. As a result there are no vacant posts at this time.
